Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our local engineering team and oversee the design, development, and delivery of high-quality software solutions. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who is passionate about building scalable platforms, fostering technical talent, and aligning engineering initiatives with strategic business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Team Leadership & Development
- Hire, mentor, and develop a team of engineers focused on full-stack development, systems integration, and platform scalability.
- Cultivate a strong engineering culture of collaboration, innovation, and ownership.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and promote professional development.
Technical Execution
- Oversee the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from planning to deployment.
- Lead architectural decisions and ensure code quality through reviews and best practices.
- Manage timelines, sprint goals, and project priorities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with product, operations, and leadership teams to translate business needs into scalable tech solutions.
- Serve as a key point of contact between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Support system integration with platforms such as HubSpot, Aircall, QuickBooks, and internal tools.
On-Site Engagement
- Collaborate in person with team members and leadership at our Las Vegas office.
- Participate in strategy meetings, team standups, and solution design sessions on-site.
Qualifications and Experience
- 5 years of software engineering experience, with 2 years in engineering leadership roles.
- Proven experience leading agile development teams and delivering end-to-end solutions.
- Proficiency in modern web technologies (e.g., React.js, Node.js, Python, SQL databases).
- Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving, project management, and people leadership skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Located in Las Vegas or willing to relocate – this role is fully on-site.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $70,000 – $150,000 USD annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
