Human Resources and Payroll Specialiist
Under the supervision of the Facility Administrator the Human Resources Cordinator will be responsible for managing all aspects of HR and payroll functions for Sapphire Care and Rehabilitation (Formerly Arlington Court Care Cetner).
The Human Resources will be responsible for providing HR support to the organization. The ideal candidate will have experience with Fingercheck, and Microsoft office, and be time sensitive. The HR Coordinator will work closely with management to ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures, and will be responsible for managing employee relations, performance management, and talent acquisition. This position will work closely with business leaders to develop and implement HR strategies that align with the company's goals and objectives.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities:
Processing payroll for all employees.
Administrator of time and attendance system. Add, term and adjust employee information as well as coordinate with time supervisors for employee timecard review and approval for payroll processing.
Manage the HRIS system. Process personnel changes, employee information changes and compensation adjustments.
Facilitate recruitment process for all departments and manage applicant tracking system.
Create and implement retention strategies and employee engagement programs.
New hire onboarding and orientation.
Personnel record management.
Benefit administration for current and new employees, including annual Open Enrollment.
Process and track court orders for dependent benefit coverage.
Processing of FLMA and Workers Comp.
OSHA Reporting.
EEOC Reporting.
Address employee issues and disputes with Administrator.
Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
General customer service.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Administration, or equivalent experience, preferred.
Minimum of 2-3 yrs experience in Human Resources.
1-2 yrs Talent Acquisition Experience
Minimum of 1-2 yrs experience in Payroll processing.
Prior experience working in a Skilled Nursing Facility
Knowledge of current State and Federal employment laws and regulations
Knowledge of State and Federal laws and regulations associated with working in Healthcare
Skilled using Application Tracking Systems such as Paycor, ICISMS, Apploi, or Bullhorn Highly Preferred
