What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Department Manager position at Sappington Pro Outdoor?
The role will be to supervise all business conducted in the service department. You will be responsible for overseeing the scheduling of employees and all service work done in the shop. This includes:
- Delegating and directing service tasks, monitoring the progress of current work being done, and managing service team members to ensure the team's objectives and goals are being met.
- Handling customer complaints or concerns quickly and professionally to maintain good customer relationships and ensure repeat customers.
- Assist with or perform administrative tasks as needed.
- Resolving service counter problems and improving service methods to lessen recurring issues.
- Adjusting work and customer service to ensure the company's high standards, efficiency, and productivity goals are met.
- Responsible for training new employees in company procedures.
- Maintaining a strong working knowledge of industry regulations, restrictions, and laws, ensuring the company's adherence to these regulations, and remaining current on the industry's standards and new innovations, materials, tools, and procedures.
- Work as a liaison between employees and issues that arise in the service department with administration.
To be successful, you should have excellent customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills. You should also have a strong understanding of lawn & garden, and powersports equipment.

Pay: $20.00 - $28.00 per hour
