- Educate the community on fire prevention strategies and safety measures.
- Maintain physical fitness through regular training and conditioning exercises.
- Collaborate with other emergency services personnel during multi-agency responses.
Requirements
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and carry equipment weighing up to 100 pounds.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and the public.
- Willingness to work 24 hours on 48 hours off.
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in fire science or emergency services is a plus.
- EMT certified
