Part-Time Overnight Pet Sitter

Sara Lutz Pet Services LLC is an established and well-loved pet sitting company, and we are seeking exceptional overnight pet and house sitters to add to our staff.

We currently need:

OVERNIGHT PET SITTERS to stay in client homes. Please have at least 2 pet sitting references to apply for this job. Jobs can last anywhere between 3-10 nights (but on average last about 7 nights).

Requirements for the overnight pet sitting position:

• You are comfortable walking and handling dogs of all breeds and sizes.
• You have a reliable car.
• You absolutely LOVE both dogs and cats.
• You are neat and tidy in client homes.
• You can work with us a minimum of 6 months . The pets will want to develop a long-term relationship with you.
• You are available to pet sit over at least 2 of the upcoming holidays: Christmas Eve/Day, New Year’s Eve/Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day. (Don’t worry; you’ll be paid an additional holiday bonus per night and will be able to have holiday plans of your own.)
• You are available to stay overnight in a clients home with their pets AND are available to be back at the clients home mid-day (within the hours of 11am-2pm) to let the pets out again for a bathroom break.
• You are available both during the week and weekends.
• You can pass a criminal / background check.

The pay range for the overnight pet sitting jobs is from $50 to $60 per night (at minimum) depending upon the number of animals cared for.

Expected hours: 12 – 35 per week
