Our Business Associate is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the CRO project budgets and contracts in support of Sarah Cannon Research Institute. In addition, this position will support new business development opportunities from a financial aspect, as well as any budget and contract updates to existing projects due to change orders.

Our Business Associate is responsible for the creation and maintenance of the CRO project budgets and contracts in support of Sarah Cannon Research Institute. In addition, this position will support new business development opportunities from a financial aspect, as well as any budget and contract updates to existing projects due to change orders.
Duties include and are not limited to:
- Develops study budgets for all SCRI projects, working in collaboration with the leadership team, as well as maintaining the budgets through change orders as needed.
- Creates RFI/RFPs from a financial perspective for all SCRI strategic development
- Supports business development activities with pharmaceutical partners for various initiatives
- Works with the legal team to ensure all contracts and change orders are processed and executed for SCRI projects
- Leads the Clinical Project Managers and Project Finance Analysts in interpreting the project budgets and instructing when amendments are needed to mitigate financial risks
- Negotiate budgets and contracts with Sponsors while keeping in mind the financial prolonged effects
- Present budgets and various financial models to Senior Leadership
- Educating internal stakeholders for rudimentary budget literacy and leads internal cross-functional negotiations
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, or related subject
- Minimum 1 year work experience preferably in a clinical research or healthcare environment - appropriate education may be substituted for partial experience
- General knowledge of financial models
- Understanding of financial analysis concepts and procedures
- Strong knowledge and understanding of contractual terms
- Solid experience with all Microsoft products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
