What are the responsibilities and job description for the EVS tech (housekeeping) position at Sarah D Culbertson Memorial Hospital?
Perform daily cleaning and disinfecting tasks in patient areas, offices, public, and/or other non-patient areas.
Available Shifts:
- 6:00am-2:30pm with rotating weekends and holidays
- 2:30pm-11:00pm with rotating weekends and holiday
Work Environment:
- Works in a well-lighted and ventilated office area, as well as throughout patient care areas.
- Potential exposure with blood, body fluid, hazardous materials, radiation, and infectious diseases.
- Must be able to work beyond traditional work hours on all shifts and on weekends and holidays as needed.
Physical Demands:

- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, walk and lift intermittently during work hours.
- Subject to frequent interruptions.
- Able to see, hear, and palpate or use prosthetics that will enable these senses.
- Must be in good health and demonstrate emotional stability.
Regulatory Requirements:
- Previous EVS experience preferred.
- Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
