EVS tech (housekeeping)

The housekeeper maintains a safe and clean environment by cleaning, keeping orderly, and keeping sanitary conditions throughout the facility and in all areas.

This is a part time position working 10-12 hours a week in our Astoria clinic and also on weekend rotation at the hospital 238 S. Congress, Rushville, IL 62681

Work Environment:

• Works in a well-lighted and ventilated office area, as well as throughout patient care areas.
• Potential exposure with blood, body fluid, hazardous materials, radiation, and infectious diseases.
• Must be able to work beyond traditional work hours on all shifts and on weekends and holidays as needed.

Physical Demands:

• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, walk and lift intermittently during work hours.
• Subject to frequent interruptions.
• Able to see, hear, and palpate or use prosthetics that will enable these senses.
• Must be in good health and demonstrate emotional stability.

Regulatory Requirements:

• Previous EVS experience preferred.
• Healthcare experience preferred but not required.
• Working knowledge of floor cleaning machines preferred.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week

Schedule:

• Evening shift
