What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Shift Leader - 1st Shift position at Sarah Reed Children's Center?
Sarah A. Reed Children's Center is looking for energetic and creative leaders who want to advance their career in the mental health field and make a positive difference in the lives of children and teens!
The shift leader will provide leadership and act as a positive role model for both the children and staff they lead and oversee. In addition, they are responsible for coordinating resources, planning shifts and coordinating daily age appropriate activities which support the goals defined in treatment plans with the clinical care staff.

Schedule:
- 5-day work week
- 1st shift
- Monday - Friday: 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Participate in formulating, updating, and evaluating Individual Service Plans and Treatment Plans.
- Oversee and Conduct therapeutic activities.
- Assist in developing and implementing behavior-shaping programs.
- Ensure a safe environment for all residents using effective behavior management techniques.
Requirements:
- Must be 21 or older
- Ability to obtain clearances for FBI fingerprints, PA criminal history, and Child Abuse history
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Education or related areas of study required.
