We specialize in hour-long, off-leash walks. A tired dog makes for a happy owner! In addition to exercise, the dogs in our pack work on social skills such as staying together in a group, coming when called, and being well-mannered on the trails.About us
Hike with Dogs in beautiful Western MA in Northampton/Hatfield area
Dog hikers take packs of 3 to 6 dogs on hour long, off leash adventures into the beautiful New England forests. Rain, shine, or snow while monitoring and managing their packs and providing excellent customer service everyday. Provide care and handling for a variety of animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals.
Job Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 10am - 3pm starting at least 3 days a week (Required)
- Weekend, holidays, mornings, nights, and overnights (Desired)
What We Are Looking For:
- A flexible team player with a love of working with dogs of all sizes and breeds!
- The ability to walk up to 3 miles a day on pavement and forest trails while managing dogs on and/or off leash
```Qualifications:```
- Previous experience working with animals, such as in a veterinary clinic, pet care facility, or animal shelter
- Knowledge of animal behavior and handling techniques
- Strong customer service skills to interact with pet owners
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Must have valid driver license and reliable vehicle for transporting packs of dogs
- Must have a smart phone with a camera, texting, ample data, and an ability to check emails at all times
