Job Overview
This position is responsible for providing clinical and administrative support to ensure efficient operation of our medical practice. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication.
Responsibilities and Duties
Room patients and obtain vitals, make updates to medical history, medication list, pharmacy
Complete MIPS measures on each patient, fill out appropriate forms such as MDHAQ / BASDAI
Prepare and clean exam rooms
Unpack samples / supplies, put away and restock as necessary.
Prepare for appointments making sure all appropriate labs and imaging are received
appropriately interact with patients, providers and other staff.
Respond to patient phone calls, and provider tasks in timely manner
assist provider during exams / procedures as needed, administer injections as directed.
Perform other duties / tasks as assigned by management
Qualifications
Certification Medical Assistant
Prior clinical experience
Knowledge of medical office systems and procedures, EMR
Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Friendly, team player, excellent collaborator, and communicator
