Job Summary
Responsible for insuring the highest quality of safe care to the children of members and guests. Responsible for the supervision and entertainment of the children placed into Child Care. Oversees the security system for signing children in/out of Child Care. Ensures that all toys and equipment function properly and do not present safety or infection hazards to children and removes any toys, equipment, or furniture that are broken or present an actual or potential hazard to children. Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the front desk when no children are present, answering of phones, processing memberships, touring potential members, answering of questions about the facility, stocking and washing member towels. Expected to provide service support, including scheduling appointments, selling products from the beverage cooler and other retail products, taking messages, and questions about the center. Adheres to the facility cleaning checklist to ensure all areas are in excellent condition including toys, bedding and other child play areas. Ensures that all users and guests receive a warm welcome each time they visit or call the facility.
Required Qualifications
- Require a minimum one (1) year previous experience in child care or similar position.
- Require Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification within ninety (90) days of hire.
- Require the ability to pass the required Criminal Background and Child Abuse Checks.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer demonstrated ability to display proficiency in operation of the facility’s computer hardware and software systems.
Mandatory Education
HS EQ: High School Diploma, GED or Certificate
