Genetic Counseling Grant
Job Summary
The Genetics Counselor Assistant will provide support to the genetic counselors and department in day-to- day activities, such as case preparations, processing genetic testing documentation, relevant genetic research projects and data collection, as well as, working closely with various laboratories, insurance companies and internal departments.
Required Qualifications
- Require a Bachelor's degree in biological, genetics, or health science or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer knowledge of genetics and genetic concepts.
- Prefer demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and other commonly used applications.
- Prefer knowledge of family history, pedigree and genetic health risks.
