IT and Epic Financial/Budget Analyst Sr

This position is responsible for performing financial management of major IT (CIP) projects, including budget development and analysis, forecasting, cost analysis, and cost tracking. Performs complex financial analysis, utilizing data to provide cost-benefit analysis, trend and variance analysis, forecasts and projection, related to project/major IT Capital Projects and overall IT Operating Expenses and Budgets. Delivers impactful insights to Senior Administration, Senior project committee leaders, IT, and other Leaders to facilitate informed decision making around capital, operating costs, and other strategic initiatives. Collaborates across the organization to resolve issues, enhance visibility into spend, control costs, and budget tracking and projections. Develops and implements controls for processes across the organization impacting project costs, to eliminate errors in coding to IT capital, and operating projects, eliminating re-work. Leads and facilitates the set up and completion of annual operational and selected capital budgets and forecasts for the IT Division. This position may also be responsible for testing working with IT and Finance Leaders in facilitation of business and system design requirements, application management, and application testing.  Ideally the candidate will have experience with expense management related to Epic EHR implementation.

- Require a bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or business administration, with an accounting and/or finance concentration.
- Require a minimum of five (5) years of accounting and/or computerized budgeting or project cost or financial tracking/reporting experience.

- Prefer demonstrated time management and analytical skills.
- Prefer general familiarity with Systems Development Life Cyle (SDLC), business requirements, systems, analysis, design, and system testing, as well as demonstrated ability to implement system test plans.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer-focused service to resolve problems.
- Prefer proficiency with and advanced knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as, knowledge and understanding of Smartsheets.
- Prefer understanding of PeopleSoft/Oracle ERP system and related reporting tools.
