Job Summary
This leader has accountability and oversight, and supervises the daily activities of the department, shift or area. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring individual and teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals.
Required Qualifications
Require a bachelor's degree in social work or related field (human services including gerontology); master's degree preferred.
- Require a minimum of three(3) years of social work experience in a healthcare setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer expert in interpersonal skills to deal with staff, residents, families and the general public.
- Prefer the ability to make independent decisions.
- Prefer the ability to work cohesively with care team.
- Prefer the ability to seek new methods/principles to incorporate into existing practice.
- Prefer current knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid SNF guidelines.
- Prefer the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
