Job Summary
Responsible for OR/AIMS (Operating Room/Anesthesia Information Management System) data management, support, maintenance, application configuration and testing, quality improvement, user support, implementation and standards and regulation of the OR/Anesthesia Information Management System. Functions in a collaborative manner with all departments impacted by the OR/AIMS, as well as medical staff, in meeting user needs. Serves as the liaison between hospital departments regarding OR/AIMS issues and with vendors in the area of clinical and system support concerns.
Required Qualifications
- Require an Associate degree in Nursing or appropriate clinical area of specialty. Relevant work experience may substitute on a year-for-year basis for required degree.
- Require two (2) years of clinical experience in a hospital setting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer competency in AMPFM/SCM.
- Prefer demonstrated knowledge of Perioperative Services and clinical practice, either by profession or experience.
- Prefer demonstrated familiarity with Microsoft Office and software packages.
- Prefer demonstrated conceptual knowledge of networks, servers and databases.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and document OR/AIMS issues and implement test plans.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to communicate technical information to less experienced users either verbally or in writing to at all levels of management including physicians.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to lead clinical groups and perform and document workflow analysis.
