Revenue Cycle
Job Summary
Serves as a key resource for supporting revenue cycle process improvement, complex reporting, project management, data analysis and assigned revenue cycle systems. Provides guidance to other team members on complex process improvement projects and leads small projects driving efficiencies across the revenue cycle division and the organization to improve revenue cycle processes. Supports leadership in developing complex reports per user requests. Produces standard monthly reporting for end users. Creates project plans, assigns tasks, follows up to ensure timely completion, and completes project on time. Analyzes data and develops summary reports and trend analysis to assist management in decision making. Facilitates the implementation, maintenance, and management of assigned revenue cycle systems. Aligns business requirements to system capabilities and leads assigned system projects. Acts as liaison between technical and functional users to refine and maximize operational processes. Teaches functional user training and creates training materials for assigned systems.
Required Qualifications
- Require a minimum of three (3) years of healthcare, financial analysis or business technology experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prefer that the required Bachelor's Degree is in a business related field.
- Prefer customer service oriented interpersonal and team building skills.
- Prefer medical coding certification.
- Prefer previous experience in financial analysis, process improvement, and systems support in a healthcare accounts receivable environment.
- Prefer demonstrated high level computer skills, including spreadsheet software, database tables and reporting, and various Microsoft applications.
- Prefer demonstrated proficiency in project and time management skills with the ability to prioritize or re-prioritize duties.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
- Prefer demonstrated ability to take initiative and exercise independent judgment, decision making, and problem solving.
- Prefer demonstrated effective written, oral and listening skills.
- Prefer demonstrated leadership and facilitation skills.
