Strategic Partnerships (Sponsorships) Internship

Sarasota Paradise is the region’s only professional sports team, gearing up for an exciting 2025 season at our new home, Premier Sports Campus in Lakewood Ranch. As a growing organization with deep roots in the Sarasota-Manatee community, we’re passionate about delivering exceptional fan experiences, fostering community connections and building impactful partnerships.
Position Overview:
We’re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sponsorship Sales Intern to join our team for the 2025 season. This internship offers a hands-on opportunity to gain experience in sports sponsorship, sales and marketing while contributing to the growth of Sarasota Paradise.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the sponsorship team in identifying and researching potential partners and industries.
- Support the creation of sales presentations, proposals and sponsorship packages tailored to client needs.
- Conduct outreach to potential sponsors to schedule meetings and presentations.
- Help manage and track engagement in CRM software.
- Collaborate with the marketing and events teams to ensure sponsor activations are executed effectively.
- Assist in preparing for and attending client meetings, community events and match days to network with potential partners.
- Support the team with administrative tasks as needed to facilitate smooth sales operations.
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in soccer, sports marketing, sponsorship and community engagement.
- Excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word); familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- Availability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends for events and match days.
