Toyota of Sarasota is seeking an internet sales consultant to join our Sales Team.
Automotive BDC experience, automotive sales, or internet sales experience strongly preferred.

The internet sales consultant is often the customer’s first contact with the dealership and must represent the dealership in a consistently friendly, welcoming, reassuring, and professional manner, on the phone, in person, or via electronic communications. Work Schedule
- This position requires you to work a full-time schedule (determined by management). The schedule you and your co-workers will cover is 7am-7pm Monday-Friday, 7am-6pm Sat, and 12pm-5pm Sunday. We will schedule you for approximately 40 hours per week. Reliability and promptness are a must.
Business Development Duties (Summary):
- Scheduling sales appointments within our operating system
- Answering and transferring dealership calls and working within the Toyota information systems for vehicle inquires
- Field and accurately route incoming calls to the customer’s needed destination
- Patiently and courteously reassure customers waiting to speak to various services specialists without “leaving the customer on the phone just hanging out there”
- Work with department managers to keep abreast of new products and services offered by the dealership
- Refer customers who have additional questions (e.g. questions about their repair order) to a Sales Consultant or other appropriate individual
- Handle customer complaints with integrity and poise and take or refer the complaining customer to the appropriate individual for further communication
- Responsible for other duties as assigned and/or required by business need.
**Automotive dealer experience strongly preferred.
