What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Total Rewards position at Saratoga Hospital?
The Manager, Total Rewards is responsible for assessing, designing, implementing, and managing our total rewards programs. This includes the HRIS, compensation, benefits, and retirement programs. The Manager, Total Rewards must be a strategic leader and hands-on contributor who is passionate about how competitive compensation, benefits and other rewards impact the employee experience. This role works alongside the broader HR leadership team and focuses on collaborative solutions that have a true business impact. The role will oversee a team of four and function as part of the HR leadership team. The Manager will lead, guide and mentor the Total Rewards team.
The Manager, Total Rewards will lead our benefit and retirement programs, seeking out new benefit offerings, aligning current programs with those offered across the health system and ensuring all programs are communicated to applicants and employees.
The Manager, Total Rewards will manage our compensation program; establishing and communicating our compensation philosophy, ensuring compensation policies and procedures are documented and updated, and participating and reviewing salary surveys to stay ahead of market compensation trends.
The Manager, Total Rewards, will be responsible for HRIS projects, automating manual processes, upgrading current technologies and seeking out new innovative solutions. In addition, the Manager, Total Rewards will be responsible for leading data collection & analysis, and reporting on trends.
The Manager will ensure inquiries regarding compensation, benefits, and retirement matters are responded to in a timely manner.
The Manager is responsible for managing Saratoga’s compensation, benefit, and retirement budgets.
Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in HR, business, or related field, required.
Five years of relevant work experience in Total Rewards (HRIS, Compensation, Benefits, and/or Retirement), required.
Prior experience in a leadership role, required.
HR certification, preferred.
Salary Range: $70,948.00 - $124,987.00
