## Overview
We are a busy growing medical office seeking a full-time, experienced medical biller with MEDENT. The job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, verifying insurance for eligibility and benefits, posting charges and insurance payments, handling claim issues and follow-up on issues, credentialing providers, submitting records for audits, submitting authorizations for treatments, tracking unpaid claims, tracking providers charges and documentation, claim submissions, and bill patients if there's patient responsibility. The hours for the position are 8:00 to 4:30 Monday through Friday
## Responsibilities
- Review and analyze medical procedures and services to ensure accurate billing
- Assign appropriate medical codes (ICD-9, ICD-10) to diagnoses and procedures
- Process insurance claims for reimbursement
- Communicate with healthcare providers to clarify billing information
- Maintain patient records and billing information in compliance with regulations
- Utilize medical billing software and systems effectively
## Requirements
- Proficiency in medical terminology, DRG, and medical coding principles
- Previous experience in medical billing or coding is preferred
- Knowledge of medical records systems and procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
