About the Role: Residential Case Manager
As a Community Educator at SARC, you will be the voice and face of our outreach efforts, delivering dynamic, trauma-informed education to the public and building lasting partnerships that amplify our impact.
What You'll Do:

Deliver engaging presentations to diverse audiences on domestic violence, sexual violence, stalking, and bystander intervention.

Promote awareness of SARC’s services and the issues survivors face, with a focus on prevention and education.

Identify and build relationships with new community partners, expanding our outreach footprint.

Organize and co-facilitate volunteer training, including our 26-hour Basic Crisis Responses Training.

Create and share outreach-focused social media content in collaboration with internal teams.

Maintain accurate records and submit monthly statistics for all outreach and training activities.

Coordinate community communications and targeted outreach emails with the Donor and Community Engagement department.

Continuously seek new educational resources and remain up to date on best practices in prevention.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and represent SARC at community events.

Schedule: Hybrid, 25 hours per week, with flexibility required to attend some evening or weekend events.
Salary: $20.00 per hour
Requirements
What You Need:

A bachelor’s degree in communications, human services, social work, or a related field OR
-
An associate degree and at least two years of experience in a related field OR
-
Four years of relevant experience without a degree.

Completion of SARC’s Basic Crisis Response and Companion Trainings (provided upon hire).
- A valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation.
Preferred:
-
At least one year of experience providing case management, crisis intervention, or direct advocacy services for survivors of violence.

Familiarity with community resources, housing assistance, legal advocacy, and crisis intervention strategies.
- Experience working in a residential or emergency shelter setting.
