Sarcona Management is seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented individual to join our team as an Air Freight / Ocean Import Adminstrator. The ideal candidate will be responsible for clerical logging and filing work, billing entries and tracking, file management, tracking invoices, and email/phone monitoring to ensure customer needs are being met. Ability to create reports and spreadsheet in Excel is vital.
Responsibilities:
- Answer and direct incoming calls and emails
- Billing of customer / carrier invoices
- Generating reports in Excel showing rates and trends
- Maintain accurate and organized billing records
- Communicate with customers about issues that many arise
- Manage the status of customer accounts and balances and identify inconsistencies
- Assist with updating accounts receivable database with new accounts or missed payments
- Write thorough reports on billing activity with clear and reliable data
- Represent the company in a professional and positive manner in all facets
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
- Experience in trucking industry is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office / QuickBooks / Profit Tools a plus
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Bilingual in Spanish a plus
- A team player with a positive attitude
