What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Sares-Regis Group?
We are a leading real estate development and management firm seeking an experienced maintenance professional to join our team in Norwalk, CA.
The successful candidate will have 3 years of experience in all trades (electrical, plumbing, drywall, paint, appliances, etc.) and be able to perform quality work using required tools and machinery.
Key responsibilities include responding to maintenance service requests, working on external and internal repairs, participating in emergency and after-hours coverage, and maintaining inventory and preparing related paperwork.
Demonstrated knowledge and skill in performing quality work, professional interaction with co-workers, residents, and vendors, and knowledge and continued education of OSHA requirements are essential.
A high school diploma or GED, technical school, or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Excellent customer service skills are a must.
Salary range is $24.00-$26.00/hour, with a competitive compensation package including a 401(K) match, rental incentive and renewal compensation, bonuses, and rental discounts depending on location.
