Hours: 1st shift Monday-Friday, 6am-2pm

What You Do.
Enter all required information into our Warehouse Management Systems to complete the receiving/shipping process of purchase orders, sale orders, transfers between plants/3PL’s, and any other needed material movements.
To function as liaison between Receiving personnel, Drivers, Transportation, Logistics, Procurement, Accounts Receivable, and Manufacturing departments, at all facilities for incoming product availability, and Receiving/Shipping information.
Excellent communication skills with dispatchers, carriers and drivers for information on date and time of arrival/departure.
Must check and verify trailer seals, and complete Seal Investigation Forms when discrepancies arise.
Write, sort, and file Load Manifests, Bill of Ladings and Certificate of Analysis (COA’s).
Notify Accounting, Graders, Procurement, and Receiving employees of weight and case count discrepancies.
Investigates and corrects any discrepancies on incoming receipts.
Using our Warehouse Management Systems to receive, manage and assign batch numbers to all incoming bulk materials and stock requirements of other locations. This task includes receiving/shipping items associated with direct loading or unloading as well as materials diverted to other plants and 3PL’s.
Must understand the floor receiving process to be able to help out with concerns.
Monitor materials placed in outside storage.
Notify Local Traffic Dispatch and outside storage facilities for bulk material transfers and/or finished goods needed outside of Sargento locations.
Must be able to work in multiple docks/offices as needed.
- This is a full-time position with availability and flexibility to work additional hours as necessary.
Your Education and Experience.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
- A minimum of six months to one year experience and/or training in an office environment strongly preferred.
- SAP experience strongly preferred.
