POSITION OVERVIEW
The Operations Manager will provide day-to-day leadership and management of business operations that aligns with the mission, vision, and core values of the Company.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develops and implements business plans and initiatives for the daily operations of the business.
- Manages the profitability and financial growth of the Company and provides financial guidance to senior leads.
- Provides timely and accurate reports on the operating conditions of the Company.
- Develops and foster relationships with customers, subcontractors, vendors, community leaders, and business partners.
- Provides effective, engaging and inspiring leadership by being actively involved with the Company’s projects, programs, services, and team building.
- Holds self and direct reports accountable for projects.
- Maintains continuous lines of communication with senior leadership regarding outstanding issues to minimize risk and financial impact to the Company.
- Manages Company risk by ensuring that all projects are operating within the Company’s policies and procedures.
- Seeks growth, diversity, and other financial opportunities for the Company, including but not limited to mergers or acquisitions, expansion of geographic footprint, diversity of product offerings, and collaboration with other companies.
- Promotes a culture of excellence and continuous improvement focused on customer experience, quality, learning and safety.
- Coaches, mentors, and trains the management team and direct reports, and assists with professional development.
- Critically assesses the policies and procedures in order to implement accountability measures to increase efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Perform other job duties as assigned.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Four-year degree in business, design, construction management, or related field.
- Minimum of five years of progressive work in the tile industry.
- Demonstrated knowledge of project-based operations in the tile and construction industry.
- Demonstrated track record of good judgement and the ability to manage risk.
- Ability to balance a strategic vision with hands-on practical experience.
- Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, listening) with the ability to motivate and direct teams.
- Performance-driven, committed, energetic, and dynamic to drive operational success.
- Excellent project management and decision making skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $85,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
