Quality Leader Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Quality Leader to join our team at Sartori. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving Sartori's quality-focused culture, grounded in commitment, integrity, and excellence. This leader will ensure adherence to global regulations and champion initiatives that drive continuous improvement.
Main Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a high-performing team of quality, food safety, laboratory, and regulatory professionals
• Foster strong relationships with key customers, building confidence in Sartori's food safety and quality programs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic visions for food safety and quality
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in food science, microbiology, life sciences or related equivalent professional experience required
• Master's degree in related field is preferred
• A minimum of 10 years' relevant experience working with food safety and quality programs in a food manufacturing environment, preferably in dairy
• A minimum of 5 years of experience leading a team of quality professionals
Desirable Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of food safety and quality principles, FDA regulations, including FSMA and the Code of Federal Regulations
• Familiarity with food safety and quality management systems such as HACCP, SQF, SSOP, and GMPs
