Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of our facilities. This is a vital role in ensuring a safe and sanitary environment for our employees and visitors.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and mirrors
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain cleanliness of common areas, including hallways and break rooms
- Perform floor care duties such as buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
- Follow proper cleaning procedures and safety protocols
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor
Skills:
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
- Good time management skills to prioritize work effectively
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects if required
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
