Monday – Friday: 2:30pm-7:30pm (5 hours daily)
Must have a valid drivers license
- Must adhere to acceptable cleaning standards related to the cleaning and maintenance of the assigned facilities
- Must be able to follow a scope of work for each job assignment and complete checklists to document completion of duties.
- Must be able to operate custodial equipment such as vacuums, string mops, cloths, and dusters, to maintain the cleanliness of the facility in which they work.
- Operate custodial/janitorial equipment such as buffers, carpet cleaners, floor strippers and other applicable cleaning equipment to maintain the floors of the facility where applicable.
- Must be able to monitor inventory and complete ordering sheets for materials and supplies necessary for fulfilling custodial cleaning.
- Must exhibit excellent customer service with a positive attitude and have the ability, to communicate with the staff and co-workers in an appropriate manner.
- Adherence to OSHA standards and GIV safety standards in relation to the proper use of chemicals and equipment involved in the day-to-day completion of custodial cleaning tasks.
- Willingness and ability to work as a member of a team to accomplish small and large projects efficiently and to the customer’s standard
- Adherence to the safety procedures and policies including equipment pre-check, safe operation, post use maintenance and proper storage of equipment.
- Must have or the ability to obtain/train on the appropriate use of chemicals.
- Additional Duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents relating to janitorial business services. Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquires or complaints.
- Ability to perform basic mathematical equations.
- Ability to apply principles of logical thinking of a wide range of practical problems.
- Ability to deal with a variety of abstract or concrete variables.
