SAS Marketing Team is looking for a Campaigns & Events Specialist to join us!

If so, SAS is looking for you to make an immediate impact in our Marketing organization as a Campaigns & Events Specialist focused on budget, PO creation and large investment management.
We're seeking a self-starting, results-focused marketer to support SAS' overall marketing strategy. You will work to support the budgetary and operational needs of three Marketing teams, Americas Field Marketing, Brand and Global Campaign Center. This role is directly accountable to the financials, operations and logistics that are critical for our marketing teams to perform on all cylinders!
As a Campaigns & Events Specialist you will:
- Engage regularly with SAS Finance team to understand budget requests and facilitate the financial process with marketers.
- Oversee the workflow of contract requests between marketers, SAS legal team and vendors.
- Monitor individual project expenses to keep within budget guidelines; work to minimize costs and maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
- Responsible for the operations and logistics of marketing activities, events and/or campaigns.
- Creates and executes plans for SAS and third-party live and virtual events, specifically in the areas of facility/onsite support, equipment, catering, giveaways, materials and shipping logistics.
- Utilizes and masters systems that enable marketing processes and campaign development including Oracle Fusion, Customer Intelligence 360 Plan, and more.
- Other responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Marketing, Sales, Finance or logistics related function in the technology industry.
- Equivalent combination of related education, training and experience may be considered in place of the above qualifications.
- Experience working with Oracle Fusion and SAS Customer Intelligence 360 Plan strongly perferred

Preferred Qualifications
- Considerable understanding of budget management, business-to-business sales/marketing processes, campaign operations, and logistics.
- Excellent customer service skills, ability to work in a fast- paced, customer-driven environment; ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
- Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of audiences.
- Demonstrated project management and event management/execution skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of marketing software tools, with a high degree of efficiency with MS Excel, but also experience with Word, PowerPoint, sales automation/CRM, and workflow/project management systems.
- Independent worker with excellent mathematical ability and an analytical mind
