Job Title: Intellectual Property Litigation Paralegal
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented IP Litigation Paralegal to join our Intellectual Property group in our regional office. This role supports the legal team in managing case documentation, preparing court filings, and organizing trial materials. Primary responsibilities include drafting and filing litigation documents, assisting in deposition preparation, and supporting trial logistics. This position is essential in ensuring smooth legal proceedings and high-quality client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft correspondence, pleadings, discovery requests and responses, proposed orders, post-trial bills of costs, and other litigation-related documents.
- Conduct cite-checking and key cite pleadings for accuracy and compliance.
- Prepare, e-file, and serve motions, briefs, affidavits, declarations, exhibits, appendices, and other documents for U.S. District Courts and the Courts of Appeals, especially in the Federal Circuit.
- Review documents for production and privilege; maintain privilege logs and assist with deposition preparation.
- Support trial logistics, including managing out-of-state trial arrangements, preparing trial and jury notebooks, and compiling exhibit lists and exhibits.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- 1-3 years of experience as a litigation paralegal, with 1 years in a law firm environment.
- Bachelor’s degree or Paralegal Certification preferred.
Special Requirements:
- Previous experience in intellectual property litigation is advantageous but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
