About the job
The Customer Intelligence team is hiring a Prospect Development Specialist to generate sales pipeline growth through strategic prospecting, relationship building, and innovative client engagement for SAS’ Marketing Technology solution – Customer Intelligence 360.
You will engage in the execution of strategic sales and marketing activities involving prospective and/or current customers with a focus on prospect pipeline development and customer experience management in support of new business acquisition.
As a Prospect Development Specialist, you will:
Arrange and conduct discovery meetings to qualify potential sales opportunities and measurable pipeline growth.
Create compelling and tailored messaging, email marketing, and outreach strategies to capture the attention of new and existing clients.
Execute prospecting campaigns with precision, managing various channels such as email, phone, social media, webinars, and virtual events.
Generate, maintain and optimize leads, opportunities, and client interactions within our CRM system to ensure a healthy and efficient sales pipeline.
Identify and target potential clients and partners through extensive market research, social media, and licensed tools
Organize and staff networking events (in-person and virtual) to cultivate strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers
Develop an in-depth understanding of our Customer Intelligence 360 software products and effectively communicate their value propositions to clients through engaging presentations and product demonstrations
Collaborate closely with the sales and marketing teams to create innovative lead generation and deal-closing strategies
Required Qualifications:
- 2-4 years of experience in marketing or sales
Bachelor's degree preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or quantitative field.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
Ability to build relationships and a willingness to make connections toward establishing a strong professional network
A team player and collaborative spirit who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting market growth
A proactive go-getter who takes the initiative, makes informed decisions, manages their productivity, and devises creative solutions for challenges
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous Martech (Marketing Technology) experience
- Marketing/Customer Experience related background
