Job Description:
Candidate must have manufacturing experience with machine operation or lamination experience. This position requires comfort working in production as part of a team with specific production goals. The selected individual will work directly with other members within the lamination department, along with the safety and quality departments.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receive production orders and job assignments from supervisor.
- Verify materials supplied for production are correct to produce job.
- Maintain optimum production rate while meeting all quality standards according to customer specifications or company guidelines, monitoring for defects.
- Maintain continuous inspection of job specifications and collect production run samples as required.
- Follow all safety and operational procedures.
- Ensure proper cleanliness of machine and immediate work area.
- Assist in machine repairs.
- Complete weekly machine maintenance.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years manufacturing experience.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to read and understand work orders.
- Ability to read a ruler.
- Work well in a team environment.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Ability to work within department standards with a strong attention to details.
