Injection Molding Process Technician

Job Summary:

This role requires expertise in plastics injection molding, mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, and mold installation. The position involves alternating alternating rotating shifts: one week 7am-3pm, the next week 3pm-11pm, and 3rd shift 11pm-7am.

Job Responsibilities:

• Ensure a safe, injury-free environment
• Adhere to Division safety rules and procedures
• Conduct safety audits of equipment
• Inspect, install, and set up new molds
• Troubleshoot tooling, processes, and machines
• Assist Engineering with process development
• Improve efficiencies with Shift Process Technicians
• Interpret data related to the molding process
• Maintain accurate documentation and communication
• Perform overtime as needed
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: A two-year technical degree is preferred but not required
• Experience: At least five years of hands-on practical experience in plastics injection molding, including new mold inspection, installation, and setup
• Experience with mechanical and electrical troubleshooting
  
  

Skills:

• Must pass Work Keys Mathematics and Technical aptitude tests
• Proficiency in the IQMS system and basic PC literacy
