What are the responsibilities and job description for the Construction Quality Control Project Engineer position at SATTERFIELD & PONTIKES CONSTRUCTION, INC?
Due to growth and expansion we are adding a Quality Project Engineer for our Dallas TX office. In this position you will work very closely with our Project Management and Superintendent staff on a project. You will help ensure the quality of our documentation, processes, and ensure our trade partners are performing their quality checks.

Functions
- Assist project team with developing and implementing site-specific quality plans.
- Responsible for a thorough understanding of project drawings and specifications to ensure compliance.
- Monitor construction quality and support project staff in performing day-to-day activities applicable to the Quality Management System.
- Share lessons learned throughout the company to continuously improve and reduce rework.
- Troubleshoot and provide input into solving engineering and project technical problems/constructability issues.
- Provides quality expertise and advice in proactively resolving compliance issues (i.e., codes, standards, specifications, and regulations).
- Ability to create piping and equipment testing plans.
- Provide job site coaching and guidance on quality reporting.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors to support project partnering and issue resolution.
- Regular job site attendance required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in the construction industry, a minimum of 1 year dedicated to quality program planning and implementation.
- Bachelor's degree in engineering (civil, mechanical, or electrical), construction management, or related degree. An equivalent combination of experience, skills, and training may be substituted.
- Proficient knowledge of various software, including Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC), Procore, Microsoft Office Suite products, SharePoint, Blue Beam, Revu, etc.
