Sattler is currently accepting applications for a Quality Control Manager. The Quality Manager will work closely with management in keeping up with all ISO, EPA and other government regulations and will utilize appropriate problem-solving tools, identify root cause and corrective actions for productivity improvement and waste reduction projects.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Quality Control, Continuous Improvement, and Environmental Compliance
- ISO compliance
- Plan, Direct, and Coordinate Quality Assurance Programs
- Review quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections
- Direct the tracking of defects, test results, and other regularly reported quality control data
- Review and update standard operating procedures and quality assurance manuals
- Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering AND 5 years as Facility Quality Control Manager, ISO Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Engineer, or Quality Production Engineer-Textiles. The employer will also accept a Master’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering AND 3 years as Facility Quality Control Manager, ISO Quality Assurance Manager, Quality Assurance Engineer, or Quality Production Engineer-Textiles.
Applicants must have 3 years of experience with:
- SAP
- Textiles or related field
- ISO 9001 standards in the manufacturing environment.
- Managing overseeing activities related to Internal, customer, third-party quality audits in a manufacturing environment.
- Statistical process control, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA), inspection systems, calibration systems.
- Implementation of Quality Management System(QMS).
Certification(s) required:
- Quality auditor and Six Sigma Green Belt.
