Background:
Los Angeles World Airports ('LAWA') is embarking on an 18-month major ERP transformation. A central part of this transformation is replacing an outdated SAP ECC system with a cloud-based Oracle Finance system. The main functional scope includes core finance and procurement processes, controlling, reporting and analysis, and planning and forecasting.
LAWA has already selected an experienced Systems Integrator. The program is scheduled to start on 01/06/2025. Its planned duration is 18 months, with a go-live date in July 2026, i.e. FY-2027, followed by three months of Hypercare.
LAWA has developed a detailed governance structure for this program, which will be in place before the official program kick-off on January 22, 2025.
The program includes business process optimization and will be one of multiple large-scale transformation projects. Its planning and execution must be carefully orchestrated with these other projects to ensure that all of them can be delivered as planned.

Role and Responsibilities:
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the smooth functioning of a PMO. This role comes with a set of key responsibilities that help streamline project management processes.
Firstly, one of the primary duties is providing administrative support. This involves scheduling meetings, taking minutes, and organizing training sessions for project teams. Additionally, I maintain project documentation ( Teams, SharePoint, etc.), track progress, follow up with the project team, and ensure responses are submitted per PMO.
The candidate will be reporting to the LAWA ERP Project Manager.
Communication is another vital aspect of this role. Coordinating communication between project stakeholders and ensuring a seamless flow of information is key to successful project management. Furthermore, resource management is crucial, ensuring that projects have the necessary administrative resources and handle all relevant documentation.
Organizational skills are paramount when it comes to skills required. Managing time effectively and keeping track of multiple tasks is essential. Strong verbal and written communication skills are also necessary to interact effectively with various stakeholders. Attention to detail is crucial for ensuring accuracy in documentation and reporting. Prior experience in administration roles and familiarity with project environments can be highly beneficial.
