Position Overview:

The PMO Squad is seeking an experienced Sales Account Executive to join our sales team. This individual will be responsible for driving revenue growth by acquiring and managing key B2B accounts while expanding our footprint within target industries. Using a consultative sales approach, the Account Executive will promote our professional services to clients, demonstrating how our solutions can address their unique project management challenges to strategically align with the organization's goals.

Classification: Full-time | Exempt

Location: Remote | Must reside within the U.S. Must be authorized to work in the U.S., unfortunately we are unable to offer employment or Visa sponsorship at this time.

Salary: $75k - $90k Commission | Commission uncapped, comparable to industry standards


Key Responsibilities:

  • New Business Development: Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities within targeted industries, promoting The PMO Squad's range of professional services consulting solutions.
  • Account Management: Manage and grow existing accounts, ensuring strong relationships with clients, understanding their evolving needs, and proposing value-added solutions to enhance client satisfaction and retention.
  • Revenue Growth: Meet and exceed assigned revenue and growth targets by driving sales initiatives, negotiating contracts, and managing the sales cycle from prospecting through close.
  • Consultative Sales Approach: Engage clients and prospects in discussions to understand their business needs and project management challenges, positioning The PMO Squad's services as the solution to meet those needs.
  • Industry Expertise: Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and customer needs within the project management and PMO space to effectively position The PMO Squad's unique value.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with marketing, delivery, and executive teams to align strategies, leverage resources, and ensure seamless client onboarding and project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience in professional services consulting ideally with a focus on project management, PMO, or related services.
  • Track Record: Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a consultative selling environment, demonstrating strong ability to close complex service deals.
  • Client-Centric: Strong ability to understand client challenges, articulate service value, and build long-lasting client relationships.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to convey complex concepts to senior decision-makers.
  • Self-Motivated: Highly motivated and goal-oriented, with a strong drive to succeed and contribute to the overall growth of The PMO Squad.
  • Problem Solver: Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving skills, capable of identifying opportunities and developing solutions that benefit both the client and The PMO Squad.
