Job Description: Marketing Manager/ Coordinator (Brand-Specific - Nightlife & Hospitality)
Location: San Antonio, TX (Hybrid and On-Site)
Reports To: Director of Marketing
Salary Range: $40,000 - $75,000 per year (based on experience)
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager or Coordinator is responsible for executing and overseeing the marketing efforts for a specific bar brand within the company: Each Marketing Manager will be assigned a dedicated brand and a set number of locations, ensuring consistent marketing execution, branding, and customer engagement strategies that drive foot traffic and revenue.
This is a hands-on role that requires both execution and leadership reporting to the Director of Marketing. The Marketing Manager will not only develop and implement marketing plans but also create content, manage campaigns, track performance, and oversee the marketing of their brand.
Key Responsibilities
Brand-Specific Marketing Execution
· Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy for the assigned bar brand.
· Oversee social media, paid advertising, event promotions, and community engagement efforts.
· Ensure brand consistency and messaging alignment across all marketing channels.
Content Creation & Campaign Management
· Create flyers, social media graphics, video content (for Instagram/TikTok), email/SMS campaigns, and paid ads.
· Oversee event promotion efforts, ensuring that each brand has strong marketing around key events.
· Develop and track the performance of marketing campaigns that drive foot traffic and sales.
Review Management & Customer Engagement
· Check and respond to all customer reviews (Google, Yelp, Facebook, TripAdvisor) on a daily basis.
· Address both positive and negative reviews professionally and strategically to enhance brand reputation. Escalate negative reviews to the appropriate bar manager or area director for issue management.
· Implement customer engagement strategies, including responding to social media comments and messages.
Paid Advertising & Digital Marketing
· Run and optimize Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok paid ads to maximize reach and engagement.
· Oversee website updates for the assigned brand.
· Analyze digital performance metrics and adjust campaigns as needed for better results.
Event Promotion & Local Partnerships
· Work closely with bar managers to market weekly events, drink specials, and entertainment nights.
· Partner with local influencers, promoters, and businesses to drive awareness.
· Work with bar managers to facilitate cross-promotions with local businesses and liquor brands to increase revenue.
Performance Tracking & Monthly Reports
· Track and analyze campaign effectiveness, customer engagement, and ROI on marketing efforts.
· Provide monthly reports to the Director of Marketing detailing successes and areas for improvement.
· Evaluate personal time management and workload efficiency in monthlyperformance meetings.
Qualifications & Skills
· 3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in nightlife, bars, or hospitality.
· Strong knowledge of social media, event promotions, and nightlife marketing trends.
· Hands-on experience with Canva, social media platforms, paid advertising, and digital marketing tools.
· Experience in managing campaigns, developing content, and tracking marketing performance.
· Strong leadership and organizational skills to manage a Marketing Coordinator.
· Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced nightlife and hospitality marketing demands.
Performance Evaluation
· Daily Review Monitoring: Ensure that all reviews (positive or negative) are responded to within 24 hours.
· Marketing Campaign Performance: Track the effectiveness of promotions, digital ads, and social media efforts.
· Monthly Reporting & Time Management Review: Evaluate how marketing tasks are executed and adjust for efficiency.

Pay: $40,006.00 - $71,979.00 per year
