What are the responsibilities and job description for the SAU Facilities - 3 hrs M-F position at SAU 39?

Custodian needed to work at SAU building 3 hours per day M-F 5:00PM - 8:00PM.
- Perform routine building maintenance and repairs as scheduled by the head custodian, including all custodial duties.
- Follow written work schedule and complete Cleaning Checklist.
- Operate assorted power machines, such as but not limited to, scrubbing/buffing machines, wet/dry vacuums, rug shampoo
machines, etc.
- Perform various tasks requested by head custodian, principal, and school personnel. Fulfill requests specified on work orders.
- Responsible for checking all exits, windows and doors to see that they are properly closed and locked. Secure building and set
alarm.
- Empty trash into dumpsters and recyclables into designated containers each day.
- Climb heights to perform required duties
- Sweep, dry mop or wet mop floors and stairs and vacuum carpeted areas daily to remove dust, dirt, paper, etc.
- Help with snow removal when needed.
- Available for additional work and/or overtime as required.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
