We are looking for a upbeat, diligent and energetic team member. This person will create a positive first impression on behalf of the agency. They will be responsible for directing clients to the proper person in a professional, accurate, and timely manner as well as perform clerical duties as assigned. Acts as office receptionist. Answers calls within three rings.Handles incoming calls in a friendly and courteous manner; provides assistance and information as required and connects caller with desired party.Speaks clearly and uses correct English and proper telephone techniques.Answers client inquiries as soon as possible or directs the inquiry to the person best able to answer the inquiry.Continually checks back with callers on hold to ask if they prefer to continue to hold, leave a message, or be transferred to someone else who can help them.Arranges with telephone company for equipment changes or repairs as directed.Trains relief receptionists.Records and forwards accurate messages including correct name of caller, phone number, and other pertinent information.Performs additional functions as assigned by management.*KNOWLEDGE and SKILL Requirements Prior experience with telephone, as well as high school diploma or equivalent. Ability to use personal computer, calculator, agency automation systems and various software programs, including but not limited to Microsoft Word and Excel.A fun energetic working environment where you can learn and advance in the side of insurance you like best.You must be fast-paced, level headed, easy to get along with and able to multi-task.
