FRONT DESK CONCIERGE SUMMARY: Permanent Position

We are currently looking to fill two weekday shifts but applicants should be flexible and willing to fill in mornings, evenings and weekends when available.

The shifts that need to be filled are as follow:

Monday 11:00am- 5:00pm & Wednesday 11:00am - 4:00pm

This position is primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service, answering telephones, selling merchandise, opening and closing facility, and assisting front desk manager with needs by performing the following duties.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following:

Greeting and assisting members upon arrival and during their use of the club.

Answering phones with pleasant phone etiquette and screening/directing of calls to appropriate departments and personnel.

Answers/Screening questions about organization and providing callers with address, directions, and other information.

Takes payments for services and products.

Clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and collating.

Greeting and assisting persons entering establishment, determine nature and purpose of visit, and direct or escort them to specific destinations.

Excellent knowledge of activities and offerings of SRC and delivering accurate information to members and guests.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Responsible for covering own shifts as well as filling in for others
  • Has a consistent positive attitude and team spirit
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Must be dependable

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); 6 to 12 months; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Customer service experience a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to communicate effectively with small groups of customers or employees of organization.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of: Basic Computer software.
