Within the Knowledge Management Department, the Email Communications and Data Coordinator will be responsible for the creation and distribution of various internal and external firm communications and provide substantive support for a variety of key operational functions, including data maintenance, reporting and general coordinative support. Reporting to the CRM Systems and Contact Intelligence Manager, this person will have a basic understanding of the technologies being used in professional services marketing and knowledge management today such as:
- Contact Relationship Management (CRM) software
- Database and knowledge management technologies
- List and contact management services/technologies
- SharePoint administration
- Analytics
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist with all facets of data management including, maintenance, research, reporting and support in InterAction, the firm’s CRM system; experience and opportunity management tools; the firm’s intranet using SharePoint and other technologies used in the department.
- Responsible for the creation and distribution of client invitations and other firm electronic communications using templates in the firm’s email marketing system, Vuture
- Assist with data updates, reporting, research and data entry
- Assist with ongoing data clean-up and maintenance by eliminating duplicate and invalid data, resolving discrepancies, verifying standardization of data and ensuring that required fields are populated
- Provide basic database support to legal and non-legal end-users
- Generate client relationship intelligence reports for business development and lateral integration as needed
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Must be extremely organized and be able to multi-task and manage competing priorities, some with short turn-arounds
- Ability to produce quality work under deadlines while maintaining a professional and pleasant demeanor.
- Advanced fluency in Microsoft Office suite – Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- Experience with InterAction or similar CRM database a plus.
- Familiarity with Vuture or other email marketing systems a plus
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree required – marketing, communications or technology focus preferred
- 1 to 2 years of professional experience within a law firm or professional services
PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF POSITION
Work is performed in a professional office environment and requires the following during the work day:
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time (working at a computer)
- Repetitive movement (i.e. heavy computer/keyboard use)
- May require occasional light lifting (files, copy paper, etc.)
