To lead and manage all HR and IR (Industrial Relations) functions at the manufacturing plant, ensuring effective implementation of HR policies, compliance, employee engagement, and workforce development to support operational efficiency and a positive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
- HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle Management
- Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, confirmation, transfers, and exits
- Ensure timely payroll inputs and coordination with the central payroll team
- Maintain and update employee records, MIS, and HR dashboards for the plant
- Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning
- Collaborate with plant leadership to understand manpower needs
- Coordinate recruitment for staff, operators, and contract workforce
- Manage third-party/contractual manpower deployment and vendor management
- Employee Relations & Engagement
- Foster a positive work culture through structured employee engagement activities
- Act as the first point of contact for employee grievances and ensure resolution in line with company policy
- Conduct stay interviews, exit interviews, and address attrition-related issues
- Statutory Compliance & IR
- Ensure 100% compliance with labour laws – Factories Act, ESI, PF, etc.
- Handle labour inspections, audits, and maintain statutory records/documentation
- Liaison with statutory authorities and manage union relations, if applicable
- Performance Management & Training
- Drive the Performance Management System (PMS) at the plant level
- Support training need identification and coordinate training programs for workers and staff
- Maintain training records in compliance with regulatory requirements (especially GMP/GDP trainings for pharma)
- HR Policy Implementation & Audits
- Implement corporate HR policies and customize for plant applicability
- Support HR audits, GMP/GDP audits, and ISO/Regulatory audits related to HR processes
- Track and improve HR metrics: absenteeism, attrition, productivity, etc.
- Strong understanding of labour laws and statutory compliances
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
- Hands-on experience with contract labour management
- Exposure to HRMS / SAP / attendance & payroll systems
- Problem-solving mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing setup
