Overview
We are seeking a skilled Gel Coat Patcher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying gel coat materials to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality finishes and repairs. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail and a strong work ethic. This position requires hands-on work in a dynamic environment, where you will collaborate with other team members to meet production goals.

Duties

• Apply gel coat materials to surfaces according to specifications and quality standards.
• Perform surface preparation, including sanding and cleaning, prior to gel coat application.
• Utilize hand tools and equipment effectively to achieve desired results.
• Conduct inspections of completed work to ensure quality and adherence to specifications.
• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and implement lean manufacturing practices.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in auto body repair or similar fields is preferred.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge of auto painting processes is advantageous.
• Experience in warehouse environments is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
