This position is responsible for traveling to customer sites, on-road truck malfunctions, and mobile emergencies to provide maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of semi-trucks and equipment.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Duties/Responsibilities
Diagnoses cause of malfunctions and performs repair.
Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts.
Maintain and repair tire, batteries, brakes, and valves.
Maintain and repair chassis, frames, and bodies.
Lubricate equipment.
Perform inspections on completed jobs; ensure conformance with polices, procedures, and safety codes.
Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.
Maintains vehicle records by annotating services and repairs.
Documents all work performed and recommended on the repair order.
Determines vehicle condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests. identifying worn and damaged parts.
Maintains and is accountable for all shop-owned tools and manuals. Returns them to the proper place and in the same condition as when they were received.
Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state, and local regulations, such as hazardous waste disposal, OSHA Right-to-Know, etc. Keeps abreast of manufacturer technical bulletins.
Operates all tools/equipment in a safe manner and reports any safety issues immediately to management.
Other duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Automatic transmissions
Aftertreatment Diagnostics.
Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience working on Freightliner, Volvo, Mack and International Trucks, Certification preferred
ASE Certification a plus
Valid CDL License a plus.
Ability to work with little supervision
