Savannah River Mission Completion, LLC (SRMC) is seeking a Contractor Assurance Lead II to be based in our Aiken, SC location on the Savannah River Site.
This position leads Contractor Assurance Specialists (CAS) across variable levels of matrix management teams. Provides team management for those who administer and provide leadership and technical guidance for the planning, execution and reporting of contractor assurance requirements as defined by the Department of Energy (DOE). These activities include Effectiveness of assurance systems; Rigorous, risk-informed and credible self-assessment and feedback improvement activities, and a structured issues management system. Programs in place to provide Contractor assurance include Requirements Flowdown and Procedure Implementation, Assessment Activities, Causal Analysis and Corrective Actions, Lessons Learned, Employee Engagement, and Trending and Performance Measures.

- Provides program expertise to large diverse group of CAS professionals in technical decision-making processes including, but not limited to performance analysis, independent assessments, readiness reviews and multi-functional CAS activities. Ensures compliance by performing and/or leading technical reviews, conducting investigations, researching and implementing solutions to ineffective or noncompliance situations.
- Develops and executes schedules so team members successfully meet the needs of the diverse organizations within the matrix of responsibility.
- Ensures CAS professionals are assigned to customers with the right mix of expertise and communication skills.
- Identifies and fills gaps in knowledge and expertise within the CAS teams.
- Manages transitions in assignments and staffing decsions. Supports team in all areas of their responsibility.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university and experience in an analytical position or role like the responsibilities of this position (e.g., Corrective Action, Issue Management, Operational Analysis, Statistical Analysis); or
- High School Diploma/GED and a combination of education and/or experience in an analytical role comparable to the responsibilities of this position (e.g., Corrective Action, Issue Management, Operational Analysis, Statistical Analysis)
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent technical writing skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and customer negotiation skills management and customers/clients.
- Current SRS Liquid Waste experience
- Significant contractor assurance requirements as defined by the Department of Energy (DOE)
- Experience working with executive leadership
