Key Duties and Responsibilities
Recruiting process:
Partner closely with our hiring leads to source, attract, and assess talent.
Support the full- cycle talent acquisition process for assigned positions, from talent sourcing and attracting candidates to interviewing, hiring, and onboarding.
Follow and provide recommendations for the recruiting process (from requisition through initial onboarding) that results in successful and timely hires.
Delivers an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. Uphold a positive reputation for the firm by ensuring candidates move through the talent acquisition process in a professional, timely and friendly manner.
Maintains effective communication with candidates and hiring leads throughout the talent acquisition process.
An expert on our ATS (applicant tracking system) and maintain up-to-date candidate records.
Monitor talent acquisition metrics and key performance indicators.
Sourcing:
Utilizes talent acquisition channels to identify top talent.
Source candidates using various resources and recruiting technology, including job boards, social media networks and employee referrals.
Build the firm's brand and professional network through relationships with HR professionals, colleges, and other partners.
Identify A-players and be well-versed in what makes a candidate a cultural fit and add to Savant.
Leads the firms campus recruiting and career events. Ensures a strong pipeline of candidates are engaged and matched to open roles in the firm.
Training
Helps train all hiring managers on our talent acquisition process. Acts as main point of contact for hiring leads.
Train hiring teams on interview and assessment skills. Ensure interviews are well prepared and executed.
Educate and train hiring teams on making successful hiring decisions and crafting compelling offer packages.
Support hiring leads and the talent management team to develop onboarding plans for new hires.
A couple things to note about our Talent Acquisition Specialist position:
This role will work as a part of our Talent (Human Resources) Team that is based primarily in our Rockford, IL headquarters.
This role comes with the opportunity of a hybrid work model - balancing in-office and remote work!
Typical hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm CST
As an in-house recruiter, you will have the opportunity to build relationships internally and externally, while partnering with an amazing network of professionals!
The Talent Acquisition Specialist position typically requires the following qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a professional recruiting role, preferably in a similar industry.
An Associates degree from an accredited college/university, Bachelors Degree preferred
Experience with applicant tracking software and HR databases.
Experience with candidate sourcing tools and methods including social media and professional network recruiting strategies.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications as well as applicant tracking software.
Self-starter, takes initiative

The Perks:

The expected base salary range for this role nationally is $65,000 - $80,000. However, final base pay will be carefully determined based on several factors, including responsibilities, job-related skills, relevant experience, geographic location, and market conditions.
