Savard is looking for carpenters for work in Fairmont, WV for job # 20709

Job scope : We are looking for carpenters responsible for constructing, repairing, and installing a variety of structures made primarily from wood, though they may also work with materials such as fiberglass and metals. The role is critical in residential construction settings.

Required Skills :

• Construct and assemble structural frameworks for new residential buildings.
• Install and repair roofing structures with a focus on durability and weather resistance.
• Design and build outdoor decking solutions prioritizing safety and aesthetics.
• Utilize manual and power tools (e.G., saws, drills, chisels, sanders) with skill and precision.
• Perform accurate measurements, cuts, and assemblies to ensure high-quality finishes.
• Identify and resolve construction challenges efficiently and effectively.
• Adhere to all safety protocols to maintain a safe and secure working environment.
• Detail Orientation : Strong attention to detail is required for accurate measurements and quality finishes.
• Problem-Solving Ability : Carpenters often encounter challenges on the job that require quick thinking and effective problem-solving abilities.
• Physical Stamina : The job often involves heavy lifting and working in various physical conditions;thus, good physical fitness is necessary.

Work History Requirements :

Must have min 3 years of frame carpentry finisher experience

Requirements :

Pay : $18-$24 DOE

Up to $1320 w / 50 hours weekly

Shifts :

Monday - Friday 7 : 00 am - 3 : 30 pm, and 5 : 00 pm during winter

8 - 10 hours a day

Benefit : after 90 days probation
