Savard is looking for a Skilled Laborer with STIC / Wire welding experience for work in Pell City, Al for job # 20676
Job Environment : Shop and Field
Job Scope / Duties : The skilled laborer will be responsive for general labor around the shop with welding parts using information from the productions drawing shop travelers and work instructions as required using STICK & Wire welder, fixtures and basic welding tools to meet print specifications. When not welding will be performing various tasks assigned by department.
Responsibilities :
Responsible for making welds to meet print specifications.
Responsible for producing strong penetrated welds that are smooth, non-porous and consistent.
Follow required procedures and uses appropriate fixtures to assist in the assembly process.
Verify conformance of finished part to print specifications and quality standards. Responsible for properly using and maintaining tools, fixtures, and machines. Responsible for keeping work area clean and orderly.
Any tasks needed around Shop assigned by supervisor
Work history experience :
1 year experience in STIC / Wire Welding
Shifts / Hours :
Mon - Fri, 7 : 00 to 4 : 30 / Must be willing to work overtime and travel to out of state job sites
Temp to Perm position for the right candidate!
Pay : 27 - $35 an hour DOE
Up to $1925 w / 50 hours
